The annual competition for sustainable business leaders 2020, whose goal is to promote the efforts of the private sector in the field of sustainable development in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), ended on 6th of October 2020 in Sarajevo with the award ceremony for sustainable business leaders.
As stated on this occasion, the aim of the award is to promote the efforts of the private sector in the field of sustainable development in BiH.
The awards ceremony was organized within the project “Support to Preparations for the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals and Private Sector Involvement” implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in BiH and funded by the Government of Sweden. The awards were given in two areas, People and Resources and Environment.
We are extremely glad to be able to promote and reward companies that are special and a little different from others. This whole week is dedicated to the goals of sustainable development and we want to put emphasis on companies that work and introduce innovations into their business that are dedicated to the environment and of course good care for their employees, said Steliana Nedera, UNDP Resident Representative in BiH. adding that 77 companies applied this year.
In the People category, the awards went to STICH 22, Unija Smart Consulting d.o.o, Ministry of Programming and LANACO d.o.o.
This is a reward for our entire team in which we invest a lot. We try to encourage innovation in the accounting sector, but people are the foundation of our business. Our vision is to make people proud of us, and our mission is to strive to be better every day and that we all grow together “, said Bojčić, adding that the award is only an incentive for further development and progress.
