Based on the Law on Intervention Measures in the Field of Health, Labor, and Social Affairs, as well as Health-related Matters (ZIUZDS), the obligation to pay sick leave compensation to the employer is reintroduced, lasting for 30 working days (previously 20 working days).
The law also introduces a maximum compensation, paid by mandatory health insurance, amounting to 2.5 times the last known average monthly gross salary in the Republic of Slovenia.
