In accordance with the Minimum Wage Act (ZminP), the minimum wage is adjusted at least once a year in line with the growth of the cost of living. The adjustment of the minimum wage amount is determined after prior consultation with social partners by the Minister of Labor, Family, Social Affairs, and Equal Opportunities. The decision was made to adjust the minimum wage by 4.2 percent. The new minimum wage is 1,253.90 euros gross, which is 50.54 euros higher compared to the minimum wage in 2023. This new minimum wage amount applies to work performed from January 1 of the current year onwards.
