Slovenian Enterprise Fund (SPS), in collaboration with the ministry, has announced the second public call this year. It aims at protecting patents, designs, and trademarks through vouchers. The voucher system allows micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to receive up to 60% co-financing of costs related to intellectual property.
Purpose of the call
The purpose of the public call is to encourage SMEs to actively protect their innovations and creations. This directly contributes to the growth, reputation, and competitiveness of companies in the market. Co-financed costs will include the preparation and translation of applications, as well as the registration and maintenance of intellectual property rights domestically and abroad.
Amount of non-refundable funds
SMEs can obtain non-refundable funds ranging from 500 to 5,000 euros to cover eligible costs. Therefore, a total of two million euros is available for this purpose until 2028. Costs must be incurred and paid in the period from January 1, 2024, to September 30, 2028, with VAT not being an eligible cost.
Applications can be submitted until March 31, 2028, or until the allocated funds are exhausted. All interested parties can obtain more information and access application forms on the official website of the Slovenian Enterprise Fund.
The call represents an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs who want to protect their innovations and thereby improve their market presence.
