From March 1, 2025, a new amount for the mandatory health insurance contribution will be in effect, which will now be 37.17 EUR. Previously, this amount was 35 EUR.
There have been no major changes in the financing of the health system, so as of March 1, 2025, the amount of the mandatory health insurance contribution will be adjusted. The law stipulates that this contribution is adjusted once a year, based on the growth of the average gross salary in the previous year. After the publication of this data by the Statistical Office, the Ministry of Health confirmed that the contribution will increase by 2.17 euros in March.
This will be calculated for the first time with the salary for March 2025.
