The Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton has announced a Public Call for Applications under the program “Incentive for Direct Foreign Investments – Support for the Establishment of a Legal Entity by a Foreign Investor.” This program offers a unique opportunity for foreign investors who do not have registered operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Incentives for foreign investors
The program aims to support direct foreign investments in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises from abroad. With a total amount of 350,000 KM, the program provides significant financial support to foreign investors. Each selected beneficiary can receive a maximum grant support of up to 70,000 KM for eligible expenses.
Who is the program intended for?
The program is intended for foreign investors who plan to establish legal entities headquartered in Sarajevo Canton, where the foreign legal entity holds a majority stake. This incentive aims to facilitate the process of establishing new companies, improve the economic development of the region, and create new jobs.
Public call and Application deadline
The Public Call is published in the Bosnian language, with official translations available in English and German for informational purposes. The deadline for submitting applications is August 3, 2024.
