The Slovenian Employment Service (Zavod RS za zaposlovanje) has announced a new public call, Zaposli.me 2025. The purpose of the initiative is to encourage employment and improve job prospects for individuals who face greater difficulties in entering the labour market, while also reducing structural mismatches between job seekers and labour market demand. The program anticipates the employment of 3,965 unemployed individuals across Slovenia.
Eligibility criteria
Employers may apply if they meet the following conditions:
- They are legal or natural persons and have been registered in the Slovenian Business Register for at least 12 months
- They have at least one employee or are self-employed
- They meet all additional requirements outlined in the public call
Note: Employers must ensure employees receive wages and other employment-related entitlements following applicable labour legislation.
Amount of the employment subsidy
The subsidy amount depends on how many criteria the selected unemployed person from the target group fulfills:
- EUR 450 for candidates meeting 1 criterion
- EUR 600 for candidates meeting 2 criteria
- EUR 720 for candidates meeting 3 or more criteria
Application process and deadline
Applications for subsidized employment must be submitted via the Employer Portal of the Slovenian Employment Service (registration is required before first use).
The public call is open from 5 June 2025 at 14:00 until the available funds are exhausted, and no later than 31 May 2026, which is the final deadline for submission.
